Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By adding Aria ("the Bot") to your Discord server or by using any features comprising the Aria service ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, strictly do not use the Bot.

These Terms apply to all users, server administrators, and members interacting with the Bot.

02. Use of Service

Aria is a Security and Moderation automation tool designed to assist Discord communities in managing safety and user engagement. You are granted a non-exclusive, limited, revocable license to use the Bot for its intended purposes in accordance with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.

You strictly agree not to:

  • Use the Bot for illegal activities or to violate Discord's Terms of Service.
  • Exploit, reverse engineer, or attempt to compromise the Bot's infrastructure.
  • Spam commands or abuse the Bot's API resources.

3. Data Privacy & Processing

We value your privacy and data minimization.

3.1 No Message Content Storage

We DO NOT store, archive, or permanently record the content of user messages (Message Content Intent). Message content is processed in real-time exclusively for moderation purposes (e.g., AutoMod filtering, spam detection) and is immediately discarded from memory once processing is complete.

3.2 Stored Data

We only store configuration data necessary for the Service to function, including but not limited to:

  • Server IDs (Guilds) and Channel IDs for logging/setup.
  • Role IDs for permission management.
  • User IDs for moderation logs (e.g., warns, bans) and economy systems.

4. Advertising & Promotions

The Service is provided free of charge. To support development and maintenance (server costs), the Bot may display advertisements or promotional content.

By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • The Bot may occasionally include promotional text or links in command responses or help menus.
  • All advertisements will be clearly identified and relevant to the community context where possible.
  • We do not sell user data to advertisers.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

In no event shall the developers or contributors be liable for any claim, damages, or other liability, whether in an action of contract, tort or otherwise, arising from the use of the Service, including but not limited to data loss or service interruptions.
