Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

We only collect what we need to make Aria work. Specifically:

  • Discord IDs — server, channel, role, and user IDs needed to enforce moderation actions.
  • Server settings — your configured anti-spam, anti-raid, and anti-link rules.
  • OAuth tokens — when you log in to the dashboard via Discord, we store an encrypted session token to keep you signed in for one day.
  • Action logs — short-lived logs of moderation events (bans, kicks, deletions) to help you audit Aria's behavior in your server.

We do not read or store the contents of normal user messages. Aria scans messages in real time only to detect spam patterns and discards them immediately afterward.

2. How We Use Information

  • To run moderation features (auto-ban, anti-link, anti-spam).
  • To remember your server configuration between sessions.
  • To authenticate you when you sign in to the dashboard.
  • To investigate abuse, security issues, or bug reports.

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell or rent your data. We share information only with the following service providers, strictly as needed to operate the site and bot:

  • Discord — the platform Aria operates on.
  • Cloudflare — Turnstile bot-verification on the sign-in page.
  • Our database host (PostgreSQL) and CDN, used to store the configuration and assets above.

4. Data Retention

  • Server configuration is kept while Aria is in your server.
  • OAuth sessions are deleted after 24 hours of inactivity.
  • Action logs are retained for 30 days, then automatically purged.
  • When Aria is removed from a server, its configuration is deleted within 30 days.

5. Your Rights

You can:

  • Remove Aria from your server at any time to stop further data collection.
  • Sign out of the dashboard to invalidate your active session.
  • Request deletion of any remaining data tied to your Discord ID by contacting us.

6. Children's Privacy

Aria is intended for users who meet Discord's minimum age requirement. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone below that age.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be announced in our community Discord.
